Welcome at Shiloh Stud - where horses are treated like family.

Shiloh Stud is a SA boerperd and Warmblood stud situated in the Western Cape, South Africa. We breed competitive and recreational horses for the major international equestrian disciplines of dressage, jumping and eventing. Our main focus is to breed horses with excellent movement, trainability, loving temperaments and star quality.

The SA boerperd has been proving himself in dressage, jumping, showing, endurance and pleasure riding. The as-good-as-it-gets all rounder. The horse for young and old; competitive and leisure.

We have recentley started cross breeding the SA boerperd with top warmblood and thoroughbred bloodlines to create the absolute best South African Sporthorse. Combining the temperament and hardness of the SA boerperd with the intelligence of the thoroughbred and the capability of the warmblood. The horse of the future.

Other breeds are often introduced to the warmblood gene pool to reap the benefits of hybrid vigour, and to speed and improve the evolutionary process of attaining the breeding goal.
